Oklahoma City National Memorial

Oklahoma City National Memorial

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The Oklahoma City National Memorial is very well done. In 1995 when the bombing happened I was only 12 years old. I was old enough to remember watching it on the news but not really old enough to understand the impact it had on the country and have my own emotions with it. The memorial and museum are very touching, breaking down the entire event. Each person who died is remembered. Emotions really start to stir when you walk into the room where they have a photo of every victim with a little item that represented something that meant a lot for them. Seeing the young children really tears at your heart. Being there really brought back all the thoughts of 9/11 and what will become of that memorial.
